Welcome to Residence Life

Living on campus can be an exciting and rewarding experience. Our Housing and Residence Life Program offers a variety of programs to meet students’ needs. We encourage you to become involved in all of the activities offered by Housing and Residence Life.

We are a diverse living-learning community comprised of traditional residence halls and suites. We are ready to assist you in making your experience at Jackson State University a rewarding one.

The Spring 2025 Housing Application opens
October 2, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.!

Click here to access your housing portal.

Students must be admitted to the University to apply for housing.

All assignments are based on availability.

IMPORTANT HOUSING INFORMATION

If you are interested in housing for the upcoming semester, you may complete the housing application by following these steps below:

1. Go to http://afzppmt.web-sitemap.gharsocho.com & click “THEE PORTAL”

2. Log into the Portal.

User Name Example: oneJ01234567
Password: NET ID password

3. Click “STUDENT PAWS”

4. Click “STUDENT ACCOUNTS & SERVICES”

5. Click “HOUSING & MEALS”

6. Click “LOG IN”

7. Click “STUDENT SSO LOGIN”

8. Click “Housing Application”

9. Click “APPLY” beside the application term you are wanting to apply for (Spring 2025).

10. Follow the instructions provided in the application and once you’ve completed the application, click “SUBMIT.”
